In 2002 Barry and I bought and renovated a derelict townhouse in Aspe, south east Spain: we spend as much time as we can there, and my work has been influenced by the colour, climate and lifestyle of that vibrant country.
In 2006 we left Cuxton and moved to Hythe, since when I have been further motivated by the moods of the Kent coastline.
Barry and I love to travel, and we enjoy visiting art galleries and museums in the countries we visit: my favourites are the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Marmottan and the Musee D'Orsay in Paris, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Picasso, Gaudi and Miro Museums in Barcelona, and the Museo Sorolla in Madrid.
